TWO Architects is a small, boutique architecture practice based in Sarasota, Florida specializing in new custom homes, large-scale renovations, and hospitality interiors. Through our projects, we explore materiality and texture while always seeking efficiency and clarity. We are a design-focused practice that believes in an iterative process centered on quality over quantity. This means we choose to work on fewer projects at a time, to ensure that every client receives the attention and consideration their project deserves.

Hannah Boehmer, AIA
Hannah joined TWO Architects in 2026 and brings a thoughtful, site-responsive approach to projects alongside a deep respect for existing structures. The narrative of a project is the driving force behind her work - communicating concepts to clients and carrying them through the design process to construction has always been a priority. Her early exposure to construction - watching her parents transform their 1950s block home with an extensive renovation in the 1990s - sparked a lasting fascination with how buildings evolve over time. Today, that interest shapes her passion for reimagining and adapting spaces rather than simply replacing them.
Originally from Cocoa Beach, Hannah earned her Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida in 2014. Since moving to Sarasota the same year, Hannah’s professional accolades include a 2019 AIA Florida Theoretical and Research Design Award for her explorations in Florida vernacular architecture and modern interventions. Prior to joining TWO Architects, she spent 12 years at Sarasota’s largest award-winning architecture and interiors firm; starting as a project designer, then project manager and licensed architect, and ultimately joining senior leadership as Design Director.
Outside the studio, Hannah is a voracious reader, an occasional writer, an amateur yogi, and an active member of the Junior League of Sarasota.
Principal Architect
David Morrison, AIA
David founded TWO Architects in 2022 with the goal of combining his passion for finely-detailed architecture with an efficient and clear design process. He believes strongly in concept diagrams that drive design iterations and remain visible in the completed project, and provides excellent communication to the client at every step. His early career experience includes managing construction sites for an award-winning Sarasota design+build firm, which provided invaluable insight into the realities of construction and how the execution of details impacts the overall project. This has translated into a desire to consider all conditions of a project, to ensure constructability alongside design excellence.
Raised in Bradenton, David earned his Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida in 2014. During his time at USF, David won a 2013 AIA Tampa Bay Design Award for his multi-use high rise graduate design project and was awarded the 2013 Paul Rudolph Scholarship from the Sarasota Architectural Foundation (now Architecture Sarasota). David is a licensed architect and has practiced in Sarasota since 2014.
Born in Michigan, David is a lifelong hockey fan with a deep love for the Detroit Red Wings and is enthusiastic about traveling to games, even in the dead of winter.
